Your session today was a phenomenal success. You were engaging and the information was delivered in a fun and very effective way. We certainly enjoyed it and clearly the girls did too!
What struck me the most is that your presentation gave the students a strong “nuts and bolts” approach to college essays. I sense that the kids too often only hear generalities about the college application process, especially the essay portion. They frequently hear “write about something personal” but do not really understand what that means. I found your writing exercises to be a wonderful tool to help them understand what they should be writing.
Tonda came to speak at the Girl Powered summer camp. She was on time, prepared, and engaging. Her talk to my campers was very informative, helpful, and clear. She left them with lots to think about for their upcoming school year. It is always a pleasure to speak and work with Tonda.
